Tommy Cade is a former Special Forces soldier and an ex-golem hunter with a dark past. Having long struggled with flashbacks of a terrifying otherworldly encounter that took place years ago on the planet Phantom, he is now trying to live a life of relative peace.

But when the lives of his friends and loved ones are threatened, Tommy has no choice but to come out of retirement and return to the life of violence he tried to leave behind. To save himself and his friends, he'll have to finally confront what he encountered on Phantom all those years ago... and why it refuses to let him go.
